In this type of surgery the key to hair transplants is the concept
of donor area dominance. Balding men have hair on back and sides
of their headsr. That's because these hair follicles do not
have the genetic instructions to be susceptible to Dihydrotestosterone
(DHT). Follicles that carry this genetic coding bond with DHT,

sides do not attract DHT, so they usually produce healthy hair

follicles as donor hair.
Hair transplantation is a surgical procedure. After anesthetizing
the patients donor area, a small section of scalp tissue is
surgically removed. The scalp is very elastic, so the area
is simply pulled together and sutured, just like if you had
